About Kyle Sicotte
Hey there, I'm Kyle!
A bit about me: I was born and raised in and around Edmonton, Alberta. I've had an interest in computers since I was a boy. To me, it was a tool that enhanced my creativity and problem-solving. I would wake up early and go to bed late making games for my friends (and playing them too). After high school, I attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, where I graduated with honours from the Web Design & Development stream of the Digital Media & IT program.
After NAIT, I was given the chance to work at Pixel Army, a web design & development firm here in Edmonton. There I gained a vast knowledge of best practices in website design. I learned how to make websites user-friendly, accessible, and pretty all while prioritizing ethical, user-centric design. Simultaneously, I had been volunteering for a non-profit startup organization called Technology Alberta. They focused on helping university and college students find tech jobs in Alberta coming out of school. After more than 20 months and over 2 dozen clients at Pixel Army, I left to join Technology Alberta full-time, where I would play an essential role in their IT department and preparing the organization for the future. I remain at Technology Alberta to this day.
Want to work with me? You can find my resume below, or reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cheers!
